Hello e boa tarde! The MTC is A to the MAZING and I have learned sooooo much in the last 62 hours, both in Portuguese but more importantly about the gospel. What an amazingly strong spirit that is present here. I am in a 3-some companionship with 2 other sisters, Sister Taylor from Georgia and Sister Enszer from Wisconsin. They are so much fun and we immediately bonded the first day. We are all so comfortable with one other and laugh a lot and are just so eager to absorb all of the greatness around us. Man, it is straight up learning here like all day everyday but it's not stressful oddly enough. It's exhausting but it feels so good to be enriched with this priceless knowledge and to give my tongue a go at this Portuguese language! ahhahaa, I totally am getting it confused with Spanish and it's funny. Oh oh oh, Portuguese it is SO FUN to pronounce but it's a tricky lil devil too! I'm gettin used to it and I can already bear my testimony....

I feel so focused being here at the MTC even though there's a chaotic schedule by which we live. It's amazing all the loads of things I've accomplished in the past few days that I never thought I'd have strength for before. Even though I get tired throughout the day occassionally, by the time I'm in bed, I'm so wide awake because I'm SO EXCITED to learn to and to keep thinking and ponderfing about the things I've learned! I am so happy and feel so blessed to be here and be surrounded by my wonderful companions and people teaching me, etc. etc. I love you all and hope all is well in CA and HAWAII! burrrrKAAAA
